Flight Radar Privacy Policy

Effective August 5, 2026

Flight Radar does not require an account and does not contain advertising, behavioral analytics, or third-party tracking.

Location and aircraft requests

When the radar is open, the app sends the selected radar center, range, and a pseudonymous device identifier to F4 Software’s service to retrieve nearby aircraft. The center may be your approximate or precise current location, or a place you searched for. Flight Radar does not request background location and does not retain a personal location history. Short-lived operational logs and coarse shared radar-cell caches may be processed to secure and operate the service.

Purchases

Apple processes payments and provides subscription status to the app through StoreKit so Flight Radar can verify access and restore purchases. F4 Software does not receive your payment-card details.

Favorites

Favorite aircraft are stored locally and, when iCloud is available, in your private iCloud database. Apple operates iCloud; F4 Software cannot browse your private CloudKit records.

Service providers

Flight Radar uses Apple, Cloudflare, and ADSB.lol to provide its features. Their own policies govern information they process. Aircraft data is informational and is not associated with a Flight Radar user profile.

Your choices

You may deny location access and center the radar on a searched place. You may delete favorites in the app, manage iCloud through Apple, and manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID settings.
